Garlando ping pong complies with the requirements of the harmonised European Safety Standards EN 14468-1 (table) and EN 14468-2 (net and tension).
The self-locking locking system prevents accidental opening of the table when folded, while the patented Compact & Security® (C&S®) unlocking system offers two important advantages:
- guarantees the safety of the person since it allows to open and close the game tables being at the side of the table and therefore out of the fall range in case they escape from hand;
- or makes it possible to maintain an ergonomic position during all phases of unlocking, avoiding assuming an incorrect posture.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
General warnings
To ensure the complete safety of children, it is recommended to observe the additional precautions outlined below.
Unpacking
Unpacking operations must be carried out entirely by adults. Keep children away during all stages.
Assembly, disassembly, replacement of parts
The assembly operations (and, if necessary in the future, disassembly and replacement of parts) must be carried out entirely by adults.
When assembling ping pong keep children away to prevent them from being accidentally bumped.
Carry out the assembly correctly (following the instructions provided with the ping pong) taking care to secure all the parts well, so that a child can not disassemble them.
Ping pong balls have a diameter of 4 cm, greater than the dimensions indicated by law (3.17 cm or less) as potentially risky for children under 3 years, who could swallow them. However, some attention is advised in the presence of children under 3 years of age.
In use
Use ping pong for the purpose for which it was made.
Don't sit on the ping pong table.
Movements
Ping pong moves should always be done by adults. Keep children away.
Fold and move the ping pong according to the instructions provided (also downloadable from the TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE section). This allows ping pong to maintain its reliability characteristics, avoiding situations of accidental danger.
Using the plastic cover
If improperly used it may cause choking, therefore the following is recommended:
- assembly operations must be carried out by an adult.
- fasten the cover well to prevent a child from taking it off and running the risk of suffocating under it.
Risks arising from wear and tear
Do not keep a damaged or non-functioning ping pong table at home because it could pose a danger to children. Make the necessary part replacements as soon as possible.
Do not attempt to repair ping pong in an approximate or inappropriate manner. Consult the TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE section and, if necessary, ask the manufacturer for information (by filling out the online Technical Assistance form or by sending an email to info@garlando.it).
Don't forget
Always follow the safety warnings contained in the assembly and use instructions provided with the ping pong.
