Surely few people outside Austria have heard about the town of Hartberg, in the southern region of Styria - some 70 km from the city of Graz - a place not devoid of turistic attractions, such as its renaissance castle, and locally well know for its wines and baths.Among these can be counted the table football players that, in over 500 coming from 20 nations, will be there at the end of July. Hartberg has in fact been chosen by the TFBÖ organizers to be the location of the Garlando World Championship Series 2010, starting on 29th this month and going on for the following 3 days. Abandoned the idea of Tulln, theatre of the last two editions, the choice fell on Hartberg, provided with sport plants adequate to the emphasis TFBÖ wants the competition to have. At Hartberg many are excited about this coming event. The Municipality, one of the sponsors, has a dedicted page in its web site, with pictures from the tournament past editions.
